Exchanges & Returns

Recognising that ordering online is sometimes a little different to buying instore where you can physically handle or view the item, we want to ensure in the most effective time frame that you are happy with your purchase from Hickeys.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase when it arrives, Hickeys offers you the opportunity to return or exchange the item within 7 working days. You will know as soon as you receive your delivery whether you are happy with your purchase or need an exchange. We’d like to get things sorted for you as quickly as possible within those 7 days so that you receive exactly what you expected;

  • It is recommended that when buying through our online store, you choose carefully before making your purchase, as exchanges result in a delay in you receiving the product you really want. Exchanges also incur extra shipping costs which will be your responsibility;
  • Exchanges or refunds will not be approved for discounted, sale or special priced items;
  • All returns & refund requests require prior authorisation and RA number. Please allow up to 7 working days for any refund to be processed. Refunds will be through the same payment channel as your original purchase;
  • Items you wish to return must be in their original undamaged packaging, be unused and all tags & labels be still attached. A copy of your invoice must also accompany the goods; Failure to provide any of these may result in your request being declined, as all items must be fit for resale.
  • If the item is faulty there may be a delay of 3-5 days if it needs to be assessed or repaired by our supplier before a refund or exchange is offered;
  • All shipping charges for returns and exchanges will be entirely your responsibility (unless the product is faulty or incorrect goods supplied, in which case please contact us by email first before returning the goods).

    Here’s how to go about a returns, exchange or refund request:

    1. Download a copy of ‘Returns & Exchanges’ Form;
    2. Fill in all details and email RE Form to us for an Return Authorisation Number(RA);
    3. Attach this completed form to your original receipt/invoice as proof of purchase;
    4. Carefully package the items including your invoice and Returns & Exchanges Form;
    5. You may either courier the parcel to the address below or drop off to our store at :

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted successfully through checkout you will receive a confirmation email from Hickeys. From this point on in the process, your order cannot be cancelled or modified and you will be committed to accept delivery. We therefore encourage you to carefully check the contents and the total amount (NZD$) in your shopping cart before submitting your order.
